New Ideas about the Giza Plateau, the Great Pyramid and its Trial Passages

  • The Gathering Lighthouse 26 N. Park Ave. Lombard, IL 60148 (map)

Presenter, Larry Pahl, current Director of AIP, The American Institute for Pyramid Research is the largest paid-membership organization in the world centered on studying the Great Pyramid of Giza.

The architects and authors of the Giza Pyramids had a variety of purposes in the construction of these majestic structures, but one of them was not to be tombs for pharaohs. The most important practical purpose of the Great Pyramid is to serve as a beacon of revelation and warning to the present age. Popular modern theories of the Pyramids will be assessed and a new paradigm offered. This presentation will not be a rehash of what others have said, it will be a fresh look at ancient mysteries.

After retiring from a high school and college teaching career, Larry has launched a research nonprofit, The American Institute of Pyramid Research. He toured Giza with Zahi Hawass in 2014 and 2015, helping to re-open Egypt to tourism after it had been decimated by the 2011 revolution. He received permission from the Egyptian government for a private entrance to the Great Pyramid on October 6, 2018 to take laser measurements, and will continue research in March of 2019. He is currently seeking to restore the Trial Passages, which lie just to the east of the Great Pyramid. They have been filled with debris and locked up for ten years.
