John began his journey within holistic medicine as a teenager when he was introduced to energy work through the Healing Touch Program as a client. This bridged into his path within the world of shamanism and the many avenues it opened up to. He began training in the Healing Touch Program in 2005, several years later becoming a Healing Touch Practitioner. In 2009 he attended the School of Holistic Massage and Reflexology (SOHMAR) and became a certified reflexologist. After working for several years at a teashop and reflexology studio in Glen Ellyn he joined the staff of a local holistic health spa in 2012. Growing with the business, he was on staff there through 2020. More recently he completed a one-year training program with an internationally recognized shamanic school in Santa Fe, New Mexico. This provided him a deeper and broader understanding of the metaphysical world; how we interface with ourselves and the external world.
